Making $100 per day seems to be the magic number most internet marketers are gunning for… In fact, it’s the defacto goal that you should shoot for because after that $100 days things get easier because you can then scale up from there.

However….the problem seems to be that this $100 per day goal is very elusive for many people and the reasons could be many…

• No real and proven method
• High traffic cost
• Inconsistent traffic
• Jumping around shiny objects
• Fake and outdated methods
• Rehashed information
• Incomplete information
• The list goes on…

But the most important of them all is…

You don’t even have a clear picture of how does this $100/day comes about… You may have a target but you have no plan, no idea… All you know is that you want to make $100/day, right? What if I tell you that if I will give you a plan and a clear picture of what you should do to achieve the $100/day target and if you follow it you will reach your $100/day goal faster and with precision… will you be interested? I am sure you are!

Here’s the plan…

To get to $100 per day, you will need at least 3 sales @ an affiliate commission of $35 ( 3x$35= $105 ) or 4 sales @ an affiliate commission of $25 ( 4x$25=$100 ). Now that you know how many sales you need per day, let’s see how many visitors you need to get that $100/day. Let’s take the 3 sales per day example to find that out. Using a very conservative conversation rate of visitors to sales of 1%, you will need 300 targetted visitors to your website and/or affiliate offer to get the 3 sales. 1% is a very low conversion figure because normally it will convert at a 3-5% rate.

Getting back to the 1% conversion rate, you now know that you will need to get 300 targetted visitors to your website and/or affiliate offer. So how do you get these 300 visitors? You can use PPC such as Google ads or Bing ads, Facebook ads, or any other paid traffic to drive those visitors. HOWEVER, PPC costs money, and even if you pay just $0.50 per click, you will be paying $150 for these 300 visitors and you still end up making a loss of $50. And just to break even, you will need to pay about $0.30 per click.  But can you get traffic for $0.30 per click? Probably but it’s highly unlikely especially if you are not familiar with how PPC works. You will probably need to spend way much more just to test your ads set, wordings, demographics just to get that one ad optimized. And how about the FEAR of getting your advertisement accounts banned by google or Facebook especially after you have found your winning ad? That is WHY so many people including ME lost tons of money on PPC because we couldn’t get the numbers right.

So what else can you do then?

The answer is contents + SEO

Why? For the simple reason, that once your contents rank nicely in Google, it will bring in tons of visitors 24/7 to you WITHOUT the need for you to do anything else except to keep on adding more content to get even more visitors. However, you may have heard horror stories about the perils of using SEO and of websites being penalized, dropped rankings, sandbox, and a bunch of other doom and gloom pictures painted by website owners and affiliate marketers.

Well, there are only 2 reasons why…

1) They are misleading you with the hope that you are scared away and you abandon your idea of starting an affiliate website. Less man more share type of mentality

2) They are clueless about what they are talking about. A case of the blind leading the blind.

Now let’s drill down how you can bring in the 300 visitors to your website daily with content and SEO…

For a start, if your website has only 10 articles, one article needs to generate 30 visitors per day ( 10×30=300 ). How about if you continue adding another 20 articles to make it 30, now you only need 10 visitors per article ( 30×10=300 ). Sounds easier now? Only 10 targeted visitors per article are needed to generate the $100 per day. So all you have to do now is to focus on getting 10 visitors per article to your website. Sounds easier and clearer now?

Yes and No…

Yes, because now, you have broken it down and know what your target is and what you need to do to make that $100/day with the 10 readers per article formula.

No, because, even though you know the formula, you still don’t know what type of articles do you need to write to be able to generate the 10 visitors and also how to rank them to get that 10 visitors. Anybody can churn out low-quality non-targeted articles by the dozens but with no one reading them, what’s the point? I have seen many websites with thousands of visitors per day making $50/month. Super-targeted articles that have a high conversion rate and good SEO rankings are the keys.
